We are thrilled to announce that Jennifer (Jen) Pendleton, CFRE, has joined Aly Sterling Philanthropy as Vice President — and leader of our new Indiana office!

That’s right. Thanks to a growing circle of clients and friends, we’re officially hanging our shingle and open for business in the Hoosier state.

Jen’s expertise, reputation and engaging personality were integral to this decision, and we’re excited for you to get to know her. Jen is a seasoned leader and brings a strong background in foundation management, strategic planning and board governance to her work.

Before coming to ASP, Jen served as president and CEO of the Community Foundation of Boone County (Indiana), where she led a campaign to raise $1 million in matching funds from the Lilly Endowment for the county’s Community Impact Fund. Prior to that, Jen served as executive director of the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation, a $30 million national education foundation in Indianapolis. She also spent 10 years at Riley Children’s Foundation in Indianapolis. 

Our goal, under Jen’s leadership, is to build – from the ground up – a boutique service menu and educational platform that will meet the needs of a wide-range of nonprofits throughout Indiana. We are thrilled and humbled to be in a position to help more organizations, big and small, fulfill their missions. And we are sincerely grateful to you for believing in us every step of the way.
