Connect with Elaine Jansen
Elaine Jansen has a deep interest in nonprofit management, and earned a master’s degree in the subject from Columbia University in 2011.
However, she gained more than a credential from her time in New York City: she learned the key strategies and best practices employed by successful organizations, and how to use research and data to empower nonprofits to fulfill their missions.
Since then Elaine has worked with a cross section of organizations and “worn many hats,” from development and alumni relations to programming and volunteer management. At Aly Sterling Philanthropy, she is merging this experience with her education to guide clients of all types with a myriad of challenges toward nonprofit excellence.
Elaine holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Wooster and serves as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio, Sylvania Sunrise Lions Club, the Northwest Ohio Feminist Alliance and Sylvania United Church of Christ.
“Consultants come and go, but if you’re looking for a true partner, an extension of your team, a group of individuals who care deeply about your mission and dive in and roll up their sleeves, then Aly Sterling Philanthropy is the firm.”
